February 3, 2012: Same as in previous days; went to get coffee (I know, I changed my beverage for today); conversed with colleague; replied to e-mails; still waiting to hear from clients regarding my e-mails to them concerning their requests; sent copy of presentation thus far to colleague; cannot play presentation without software or plug-in to play it; sent contact information for another library to colleague; worked on presentation; tested projection of presentation; had had concerns with sound not playing but have a workaround in place; left a voice mail message as well as e-mailed a request regarding the availability of a microphone; need to add narration, that is, sound, to presentation; the presentation is coming together--whew!; received reply from marketing team member for offer to work on another research project; initiated organizing a birthday celebration for a colleague; attend a company function with colleagues

 

February 2, 2012: Same as in previous days; checked e-mails; checked calendar; went to get tea; conversed with colleague; replied to e-mails; received price quote for standards from vendor; received notification from manager that access to aerial photo ordering site was established; worked with colleagues on presentation for an upcoming meeting; e-mailed a marketing team member, copying a second marketing team member, offering to work on another research project; read information sheet in advance of a training session on a research database; met and had review with manager; received call from client regarding standards quote; e-mailed price quote to client, awaiting reply 

 

February 1, 2012: Came in work; greeted colleagues; checked e-mails; checked calendar; went to get tea; conversed with colleague; worked on market research request; took lunch; met with Marketing personnel; talked to colleagues about status of market research request; e-mailed status of same to manager; replied to manager's e-mail regarding database training; worked with a colleague on a presentation to be presented at an upcoming meeting; e-mailed manager about different training; viewed copyright permssion form and multi-user licence agreement from another vendor; e-mailed status on checking for a paper to client as well as asked for more information from the client; worked on, I think?, reference manager project; e-mailed vendor for price quote for standards

 

January 31, 2012: Came in work; greeted colleagues; computer was slow to start up; tried rearranging phone to other side of monitor--cord was not long enough; put phone back to original spot more or less; checked e-mail; checked calendar; e-mailed manager to follow-up on an ergonomic assessment; worked on request for a paper for a client; conversed with colleague; worked on market research request; took lunch; checked e-mail; got prices off of vendor websites; conversed with manager about e-journal subscription status; e-mailed requestor, asking for multi-user numbers; conversed with colleague and then with manager and another colleague regarding standards usage; received and replied to training request from a colleague for the rollout of the result of a special project; worked on market research request; e-mailed requestor of paper with status; spoke with one of vendors on standards request
