This is the second time in two weeks that I have had the same student kick the surge protector connecting three computers in the lab.  And not just kick the cords, but knock out the computer and any work to the three nearest computers.  So I clearly do not sit behind my desk reading all day.  Yesterday I was able to do some serious weeding once I had an empty cart to spare.  Weeding is not difficult for me.  I get in there and start pulling books by condition.  In my library, there are still some pretty old books.  Some from the 1970s.  Scary I know.  Next time I have an empty cart I will continue weeding the paperbacks and non-fiction.  I am almost loosing hope of getting the 2008-2009 matching grant of $3,000.00.  I have gotten the grant two times in a row and now I'm sure third time is not the charm.
